Laundry container contents are washed, dried, folded, packaged and returned as agreed. Medium/dark colours are washed separately to whites with all clothes dried on medium heat unless otherwise specified.
While Ipswich Laundry Service makes every effort to catch any “non-laundering” garments, we are not responsible for damage to non-washable clothing received in laundry bags.
Payment is made via a holding payment when your booking is made. Your items are weighed, sorted and laundered. For our regular recurring customers, payments are generally taken on the Monday following your service. Any dispute with payment should be brought to our attention within 48 hours, or all payments are final.
Items of clothing requested to be ironed by Ipswich Laundry Service are to be received in a dry state. Should items be received damp or wet at time of your service, a further cost of $2 plus GST per item will be charged to arrange item to be dried prior to ironing and returned to you.
CANCELLATION OF SERVICE:
For clients who have engaged our services on a regular basis (ie. Weekly, fortnightly, or monthly basis); our service provides a reminder SMS sent to you the day before the service. Should you fail to cancel your service by responding to this message or do not put out your container for pick up, a fee for our attendance to your property will be charged at $20 plus GST.
PICK-UP & DELIVERY:
Ipswich Laundry Service is not responsible for the status of clothing items before pick-up and after they have been returned to the client.
RETURN POLICY – RETAIL CLIENTS:
Ipswich Laundry Service is committed to your complete satisfaction. We have well-trained laundry and ironing staff who have been servicing our clients for many years however, from time to time, we get it wrong and damage something. Should an item be lost or damaged while in our care, we will offer you our service guarantee, being the cost of replacing the item or up to the value of your last service, whichever is less. For example, if you engage us in a service with a cost of $100 in ironing, and an item is damaged or lost, we will cover the cost to replace that item or up to $300 whichever is less.
RETURN POLICY – COMMERCIAL CLIENTS:
Ipswich Laundry Service is committed to your complete satisfaction. We have well-trained laundry and ironing staff who have been servicing our clients for many years however, from time to time we get it wrong and damage something. Should an item be lost or damaged while in our care, we will offer you our service guarantee of a Laundry Service Credit that can be applied to future services, to the value of the service we completed at the time of the error.
